In vacco, we provide industrial coating service for cutting tools with advanced hard and wear-resistant PVD coatings. Our activity is based on a technology developed by the CemeCon AG company. As part of the cooperation, we offer consultancy in the field of PVD coatings as well as full technical and logistic support - from pick-up service, through quality analysis to advanced pre-treatment, deposition and post-treatment processing.

Service

  1. Pick-up service
    We have our own cars ready for individual pick-up service.
  2. Consulting
    Within the scope of technology and PVD coatings.
  3. Pre- and post-treatment
    processes
    The coatings quality depends on the tools preparation and the final processes applied to the prepared coatings. The standard process for pre-post treatment performed in vacco is wet blasting.
  4. Quality
    inspection
    Performed at the beginning and at the end of the coating cycle - to determine the quality of the surfaces of the delivered tools and the deposited coating.
  5. Decoating
    Chemical or electrochemical removal of old coating. Process of a neutral impact on material of a tool.
    After re-coating, the cutting tools achieve the same performance as new coated tools.

Technology

  1. PVD
    The PVD technology used by us is magnetron sputtering. Its main advantage is the deposition of high quality, smooth and droplet-free coatings.
  2. PVD coatings
    We perform the following PVD coatings: TiB2, AlTiN, TiAlN, TiN.
  3. PACVD
    With the use of PACVD technology, obtained are coatings that allow for processing of, among others, graphite, ceramics, and CFRP/GFRP composites.
  4. Diamond
    coatings
    Diamond coatings are made at the CemeCon AG in Aachen.
